Select Scoring Method

QuickDog has many features which can serve to make your own handicapping system (your personal tipsheet) unique when compared to any other QuickDog user's tipsheet.

One of these features is the particular "Scoring Method" used.

Figure 1 - Selecting the HELP for Scoring Methods

When you select the HELP feature, an explanation of each of the 3 scoring methods will be presented.  That HELP file (a simple text file displayed by notepad) can help you make a decision as to which method you prefer to use.  You can change your scoring method at any time and instantly so there is no need to spend too much time deciding what to do right now.  Also, each scoring method produces its own set of track profiles.

This is an advanced feature and you don't have to decide how to use it right now.  It may be necessary for you to become familiar with some of the handicapping methods in order to understand how those methods are scored.  Try using the Standard Method as a handicapping tool before spending time attempting to understand how the selection of scoring works.
