Printing the Entire Tipsheet for the Current Race Program When you click on the "Print_Entire_Tipsheet", or press the F10 Function key, all of the race selections for the currently selected race program will be used to create a text file which is named according to the track, date, and performance. You will then be prompted either to copy this text file to your printer (print it) or ask that a Notepad Window display the contents of that file. You may then use the PRINT feature of Notepad to print this "tipsheet". Figure 1 shows the selection menu. Printing with QuickDog actually means "Create a Text File and either send that text file directly to the printer (printer must be already setup in ASCII TEXT MODE) or to display that file in Notepad so it can be printed". If you have no idea how to set up your printer in ASCII TEXT MODE, then simply always click "Print to File" - See where the cursor is pointing in Figure 1. Simply always ignore the other features.
Figure 1 - Printing to Printer or to File When you select Print to File, the output appears inside a notepad window see Figure 2. Notice in Figure 2 that the output includes not only the race results, but the payoffs for the race. Obviously this printout was made after the race was run.
Figure 2 - Notepad displays the Tipsheet For the best viewing of the tipsheet make sure that the font selected in Notepad is the Courier New font size 10. The text in the columns should line up as shown in Figure 2. If it doesn't appear that way on your computer simply click the "Format" menu bar item of the Notepad program window, then select Font. Figure 3 will appear and you should make your selections as shown in Figure 3.
